Q. Is my reservation guaranteed once I provide my credit card number and receive a reference number?

A. No, a reservation is not guaranteed until the rates, availability and a valid credit card number have been received and confirmed by a property representative.

Q. What do I do after I make a reservation?

A. A property representative will contact you via phone or email regarding payment and cancellation policies within. Reservations are not guaranteed until a final confirmation has been issued from the requested properties owner or property representative. The only thing charged to your card at this time will be the $10 processing fee.

Q. How come there is a security deposit when I am putting it on my credit card?

A. Security deposits are required for most properties on the beach because they are individually owned. The deposits may be used if any damage may occur to the property or it any belongings are missing. In most cases, as long as the property is taken care of the same as when arrived, deposits are refunded. If any further questions occur about deposits, please address this when finalizing the reservation with the property representative.

 
Q. When do I get my security deposit back?

A. Deposits are usually refunded within 7 to 21 days after you checkout. If any further questions occur about deposits or refunds, please address this when finalizing the reservation with the property representative.

Q. What happens to my credit card information?

A. Accommodations Online does not provide your credit card information to anyone other than the property representative.

Q. What is the cancellation policy?

A. The cancellation policy varies from property to property. Please contact our office by email or phone prior to making a reservation if you would like more information about a particular property. The customer service email address and phone number are listed below.

Q. How do I know what time I can check-in or what if I can’t arrive until after normal business hours?

A. In most cases, after the balance of the rent has been paid, all information is sent to you regarding directions, check in instructions, check-in / check-out time, and a combination to lock box. The lock box, which is located at the unit, has a key inside it.
Therefore, you can check-in anytime after the time listed for the property. All of this information is sent to you via email or regular mail.

Q. How do I receive the keys to the property?

A. Almost every property, with an exception to a few, has a lock box on the door that is unlocked by the code that you receive on your final confirmation. All of this information is sent to you via email or regular mail.

Q. How come there are no swimming pools at most of the San Diego properties?

A. The property value in San Diego is worth so much that the beach properties are set up condo after condo. The largest swimming pool in the world (The Pacific Ocean) is just a few steps away. If a swimming pool is important to you check out one of the five properties that do have a pool, , The Beachfront units and Ocean Point units in Pacific Beach, The Surf View and Surf & Turf units in Del Mar/ Solana Beach area, the Oceanside properties in the city of Oceanside or Oakwood Suites in Mission Valley.

Q. How come in San Diego most properties require a Saturday-to-Saturday reservation during the summer?

A. Summertime is San Diego’s Peak Season (especially July). Many people from Arizona come to San Diego during the summer because of the scorching weather, which is approximately 110 degrees. Furthermore, kids are getting out of school and more people are coming to stay in San Diego area during this peak season.

Q. Which properties are Pet Friendly?

A. Only a handful of properties accept pets. Please call or email our office for additional information regarding these properties and their policies. The customer service email address and phone number are listed below.

Q. How do I know if the property provides a crib?

A. There are only a few properties that have cribs available on site. In most cases, we refer out a company in which you may rent a crib, highchair etc… during your stay and they deliver and pick up your rental items at the desired property. Please contact our office for more information after you book your reservations.

Q. Is the nightly rate listed on the property per person or for the unit?

A. The nightly rate listed for each property is for the unit as a whole. It is not per person. Please note the maximum occupancy is strictly enforced.

Q. Can we have special functions such as a party or wedding reception at the property?

A. No. The maximum occupancy is strictly enforced. At no time can the number of people exceed the listed maximum occupancy.
